Ginger's Grand Reopening: Pride Weekend 2024 - June 28-30
Kick off Pride weekend at Ginger's with the Grand Reopening on Friday, June 28th featuring an opening ceremony and ribbon cutting with special blessing from Sister Bubbles Bathory of The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. All intersections will be closed to cross traffic during the parade.
Mission Street between the Embarcadero and Van Ness Avenue will be posted as “Tow Away/No Parking” and will be restricted to transit, taxis and bicycles only.

Drag Me Downtown: A Queer History Bus Tour and Sing-Along - June 27
In addition to weekly pop-up drag shows, 2024's Drag Me Downtown will feature a Queer History Bus Tour and Sing-Along, hosted by Sister Roma of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and historian Shayne Watson on Thursday, June 27th, 1:00 - 2:30 PM and 3:30 - 5:00 PM, before the final performance.
Their vision is to create a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBTQ people and allies. The lineup of talent includes Bionka Simone, Tila Pia, Amoura Teese and Des’ree D. St. James. PDT. This year's parade theme is "Beacon of Love."
Actor and singer Billy Porter will serve as both the celebrity grand marshal and the headliner for the parade.
