Wolf, as you’ll recall, was charged by complaint back in June for child porn possession and distribution, but there’s been no grand jury indictment, which is required to proceed with the case. That first July 29th hearing was continued to August 28th, and now it’s been moved again to September 27th.

When Wolf was arrested on June 28th, he was “charged by complaint,” which is a first step in a federal prosecution.

Well, where have you been for the last 16 months, at least. But, as we’ve noted repeatedly, the information that Wolf has on others must be significant, otherwise neither side would see a plea deal as being worth it. There’s no way that Wolf is comfortable being locked up in the heinous MDC, but I do wonder if plea negotiations typically take this long, especially without being formally charged by indictment?

Gay porn star Austin Wolf will be spending yet another month behind bars in Brooklyn’s notoriously inhumane Metropolitan Detention Center while his lawyers and the government continue their discussions about a possible disposition of the child porn case brought against Wolf earlier this summer.

to continue the foregoing discussions toward resolving this matter. The next step would be the Grand Jury indictment within 30 days, and one would think that the DOJ would’ve already had that ready to go after the arrest.
